UFC: Dan Hooker to return at UFC 266 against Nasrat Haqparast.

UFC: Dan Hooker to return at UFC 266 against Nasrat Haqparast.

Kiwi mixed martial artist Dan Hooker looks likely to return to the Octagon in September for UFC 266 at Las Vegas.

New Zealand mixed martial artist currently competing in the lightweight division of the UFC. Recently moving to #5 in the official UFC lightweight rankings after a Fight of the Night win against Paul Felder in the headlining fight of UFC Auckland. Hooker has finished 17 of his 20 professional wins before the final bell.

According to his social media accounts in recent weeks, Dan hooker has been itching for a fight – and now he has one.

Hooker (20-10 MMA, 10-6 UFC) will return to action Sept. 25 when he fights nasrat haqparast in a lightweight bout as part of ufc 266 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

UFC’s Dan Hooker slams home detention sentence for man involved in fatal attack on Fau Vake.
Dan Hooker was at a recent court hearing regarding the death of his City Kickboxing Teammate Fau Vake.
Dan Hooker last fought at UFC 257 against former three-time Bellator MMA lightweight champion and UFC newcomer Michael Chandler. From the moment the bell ring, Dan was missing a beat and wasn’t looking like his usual. Michael Chandler was pressing forwards and stalking Dan which eventually led to Chandler landing a vicious left hook that sent Dan to the ground and Chandler finished him with follow-up shots.

Hooker will face Haqparast, who has plenty of positive momentum after earning back-to-back unanimous decision victories over Alex Munoz and Rafa Garcia. His lone losses in the UFC have come against Drew Dober and Marvin Held.

Hooker vs. Haqparast will serve as one of the lead-up fights to a trio of big five-round fights, with Alexander Volkanovski headlining against Brian Ortega, and women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko defending her belt against Lauren Murphy. Hooker will also fight on the same card as the returning Nick diaz against former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.

Although fighting Haqparast may give him confidence knowing that the German isn’t a ranked fighter, Hooker is in a high-risk low-reward situation here. A victory will put him on track to pursue bigger bouts but a loss will almost certainly take him out from the rankings and perhaps put his job in jeopardy.

Haqparast dangerous opponent, it's a step back in competition for Hooker – who has fought ranked fighters in five of his last six bouts, with the other being against UFC newcomer Michael Chandler who beat Hooker in January. Chandler went on to fight for the lightweight title in his next bout.

The surprising part of this announcement is the opponent. Nasrat Haqparast is not the opponent I was expecting for Hooker. Haqparast has won two in a row and overall, he’s 5-2 inside the octagon.

Entering UFC 266, Haqparast will not have a ranking by his name. This is a massive opportunity for the lightweight from Afghanistan. Considering all that’s going on in that part of the world, this is a huge moment for him and his native land.

Let's ready for this exciting match and see who will win the match between the two warriors.

But the stats told us that the winning probability of Dan hooker is more.
